Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (May 1, 2025) emphasized the “creative responsibility” at the Waves Summit summit and said we must save the young generation from some ideas for antihumanity. “It is the right time to” create in India, to create a world “when the world is looking for new ways to tell stories,” he said.

The Prime Minister launched the world sound visual and entertainment summit (Waves) 2025 at the Jio World Congress Center in Mumbai and called it a transformation platform that connects the creators, narrators, innovators and creators of politicians around the world.

On the main speech to the wrapped auditorium of global delegates from up to 30 countries, Mr. Modi said: “Today, artists, innovators, investors and creators of politicians from more than 100 countries, gathered under one roof.
The aim of the summit, themed “connecting creators connecting countries”, is to establish India as the central center of the global creative economy. Cinema integration, streaming platforms, animations, game gaming, absorbing technologies (AVGC-XR), artificial intelligence and other waves of 2025 strive to unlock the opportunity for $ 50 billion for Indian media and entertainment sector by 2029.
PM Modi, which considered the growing cultural influence of India, said: “In recent years, the Indian film has been transferred to the spirit of India to the furthest corners of the world. From Raj Kapoor’s heritage in Russia to the Satyai Ray brilliance in Cannes and RRR is a triumph in Oscars.”
