
The Court of Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday granted NIA permission to collect samples of voice and manuscripts from Tahawwur Rana, the main champion for attacks in Mumbai 26/11, reported.
Currently, in custody of NIA, Rana has recently been released to India from the United States.
On Wednesday, Special Judge Nia Chander Jit Singh approved the NIA request to collect manuscripts and voice from Tahawwur Rana.
Earlier Monday, the same court expanded Ran’s custody of NIA to another 12 days. During the hearing of NIA, the court reported that Rana was confronted with a significant number of records and evidence concerning the terrorist attacks in Mumbai 26/11. The agency claimed that further link was required to complete its interrogation.

While she was looking for an extension of his custody, Nia claimed that the rane had avoided and did not cooperate with the investigation. The agency stressed that further interrogation was needed to extract fundamental information regarding its alleged involvement in the attacks, nor said.
In legal proceedings concerning Tahawwur Rana, NIA was represented by head of lawyer Dayan Krishnan and a special prosecutor Nander Mann. On the other hand, advocate PIYUSH SACHDEV from the legal services in this matter prevented a blow.
Rana, however, opposed the extension of his ties and claimed that further interrogation in custody was unfounded.
