Shankaracharya Pragyananand Saraswati Mahara of Dwar Shard Jyotish Peeth called on the Mahashra of the Chief Minister Devendry Fadnavis to order the removal of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s tomb, along with other tombs that described as “inseaders”, “it is” quiet.
In a television interview with the People’s Intelligence Channel on Tuesday, Seer warned that if the government did not act, the adherents of the Sanatan Dharma would be forced to intervene directly.
“You have kept the land for Aurangzeb, whose ideological descendants – now fundamentalists and extremists – are attacking Hindy,” he said. “The first responsibility of Devel Fadnavis is to remove and remove the graves of Aurangzeba and other attackers from Maharaštra. If the government does not act, Sanatanadharmis will be forced to advance forward,” he said.
Notes come in the middle of cooking of municipal sensitivity. The tension was escalated in March after the renewed requirements for the demolition of Aurangzeb’s tomb in Khultabad near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, which led to the deployment of further security. Violence violence then broke out in the Nagpur’s Mahal region on March 17th, after distributed unverified rumors about the desecration of the religious text during the right -wing demonstration.
Aurangzeb continues to be a polarizing historical figure in the Mahari, mainly because of his repressive measures against the resistance of Marath, including the execution of Chhatpati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of King Marathy Warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahara.
Asked about the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the hanger characterized him as an attack on Sanatan Dharma, who claimed to embody inclusion. “Today, the Hindes are not able to protect their lives. Islam who once received refuge in this country now takes these lives,” he said.
Shankarachary also rejected the arguments that Aurangzeb’s tomb was of historical value within the legacy of Maratha. He created a parallel with Uttaremprady and called on CM Fadnavis to capture a more assertive approach similar to the attitude of the main Minister Yogi Adityanath to the “anti-national and anti-anti-anti-election elements”.
“Why does there still be a tomb? The chapter of history – the one that desecrated our temples and chased our worshiped leaders – was supposed to be eliminated for a long time. Aurangzeb’s heritage has no place in this nation,” he said.
