At the meeting at the meeting chairman of the main Minister Rekha Gupt (29 April 2025), the Delhi approved the draft regulation of the fee in private and government schools in national capital.

The government took a “courageous and historical” step by approval of the transparency of school education in Delhi in the field of fixation and regulation of the bill on fees 2025, CM said in addressing a press conference after a meeting.
Mrs. Gupta said that this problem has been widely discussed in recent days and there has been a “panic” among the parents because of the activities of some schools and complaints about the “harassment” of students in the name of an increase in fees.
“The previous governments in Delhi have not made any provisions to avoid increasing fees. There was no guideline that would help the government prevent increased fees by private schools,” she said.

Minister of Education Ashish Sood said that the bill proposes to create three -stage committees to regulate fees.
