
The user on social media recently shared his experience after his employer was included in the performance improving plan (PIP) to refuse to work on his holiday days.
The employee stated that the change of work is not a solution if the worker is harassed in the workplace.
In the Reddit post, the user wrote: “The toxicity in the workplace – first my organization has only Sunday off, and my manager has expectations that we spend 5-6 hours on Sunday to fulfill the very strict terms that have been set for us.
“As I expected, I couldn’t work during my EL and when I returned to the office yesterday, my manager was very cold for me and distant when I came back. In the evening I called HR that my performances were Subpar and I was inserted in Pipa,” the user said.
The user also wrote: “All this just because I refused to work during my letters. It is so confused that I do not understand how it can become legally? ““ ”’
The user was looking for advice on what can be done if an employee faces such a situation, he said: “Changing jobs is not a solution because I recently joined this company about 5 months back and these days all companies annoy employees as much as possible.”
