RMP doctor arrested, 73 bottles of tramadol seized in Eluru district

The Eluru district police on Tuesday arrested RMP doctor P. Nagendra Kumar for allegedly possessing tranquilizers.

On the instructions of Superintendent of Police K Pratap Shiva Kishore, a police team led by Jangareddygud Deputy Superintendent of Police BH Venkateshwarlu arrested a doctor in Kukunoor mandal and seized 73 tramadol vials from him.

The police had earlier arrested four medical shop owners in connection with the illegal sale of tramadol injections and seized 880 vials from them.
