The Kerala Central Inspection System (K-CIS) -Centralized Inspection System for the Industrial Section-has shown 25,000 brands with considerable success, as the Ministry of Industry claims. However, industry owners demanded better awareness of the system targets between participating agencies and an increase in labor to meet the inspection requirements quickly.
“The success of K-CIS is an example of how quickly the industry department will be professionally transformed,” said industrial minister and Minister of law P. Rajeeve in a post on social media. The centralized system, as stressed, replaced the practice of officials who participated in the inspections. This resulted in less delay and helped reduce the fear between industry owners about random inspections, he added.
The President of the Association of the Small Industrial Association Keral A. Nisaruddin welcomed this development and stated that it worked well, reduces delay and alleviated the uncertainty in the minds of entrepreneurs. “However, there are isolated cases where delay is still experiencing. This can be solved by creating awareness among officials involved in the implementation of inspections and ensuring that they understand the spirit of a new initiative,” he added.
The inspection regime was introduced by coordination departments such as the government of local self, factories and boilers, work, legal metrology and pollution control Council. All inspections are carried out under one head, with an electronic schedule to avoid any distortion.
The devices are informed about the inspections and the messages are recorded within 48 hours. The fully online process eliminates the chances that officials will be interested in any device. About five MAKH industrial equipment is registered within the K-CIS and the waiting complaints will be removed because the new inspection process will gain dynamics. Anyone can upload and upload a complaint about the assessment of the authorities through the system.
