KJ George invites UAE-based Karnataka entrepreneurs to invest in tourism in Karnataka

Karnataka Energy and Tourism Minister KJ George on Tuesday invited UAE-based entrepreneurs and investors of Karnataka origin to participate in the next phase of the state’s tourism, infrastructure and economic development.

Addressing the ‘Invest in Karnataka – NRI Business Community Meet, Dubai 2026’ organized by Karnataka NRI Forum UAE, Mr. George said that Karnataka offers significant opportunities for global investors and ensures government support in facilitating credible investment propositions.

The meeting was attended by 65 top business leaders from Karnataka representing more than 20 sectors. Discussions covered tourism, trade, infrastructure, connectivity and business partnerships, a press release said.

Tourism Minister Ram Prasath Manohar made a presentation on investment opportunities in Karnataka’s diverse tourism sector. He highlighted the potential for private participation and public-private partnership projects in recreational, medical, wellness, spiritual, coastal, business and experiential tourism.

He said the state is focusing on improving accommodation, destination infrastructure and visitor experience while developing a number of commercially viable tourism projects.

Discussions also focused on improving air, road and coastal connectivity as well as facilitating investment, according to the report.
