There will be steps soon to provide homes for TTD employees, says Chairman BR Naidu

The pending issue of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) staff home has come close to being resolved, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directing officials to take steps to implement the proposal estimated to cost around ₹230 crore.

Informing the media on Tuesday, TTD chairman BR Naidu said that a sub-committee formed to look into the issue had submitted a proposal which was unanimously approved by the TTD board.

The issue came up for discussion when he met the Chief Minister recently to hand over the invitation for Brahmotsavams.

He said that the work related to the home would soon pick up pace after the Brahmotsavams. Another flagship program related to an integrated township for employees would also be developed in two phases, he said.
