
Anil Kumble accumulated praise on Krunal Pandy for his master knocking at Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) six goals over Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday, April 27, on Arnu Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Krunal won the Match Player Award after scored undefeated 73 out of 47 balls, attached to five and four six.
On the back of his knocking, RCB chased 163 in 18.3 overs. Southpaw came to the bat on the scene when visitors fought at the age of 26 at four overs. From there he and Virat Kohli scored 119 runs for the fourth goal and led the RCB around the finish line.
Kumble said that Krunal took the time before he settled before the attack on the opposition spinning. Veteran Spinner said Krunal well and actually met the expectations of RCB team management.
“I think his judgment about the situation was excellent. When he walked, RCB was 26 for 3 .. He knew he had to build a partnership with Virt Kohl, which he did as soon as he settled. “It is obvious that the RCB leadership wanted Krunal to strengthen. This situation was similar to how things developed at the Chinnaswama stadium during their first three games where they tried to put together team performance.
Krunal was also brilliant with the ball after he got the goal of Faf du Plessis to end up with the characters 4-0-28-1. Another RCB match is against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) 3 May.
