Background
In its order 3, April, the Supreme Court confirmed the decision of the Supreme Court in Calcution to cancel the recruitment of almost 26,000 teachers and non -teaching employees due to the inconsistencies of the selection process. While the Top Court subsequently allowed “unsuccessful” teachers to continue working until the end of the year, the employees would not be offered any such retribution. On April 21, teachers and non -paying employees launched a protest outside WBBSE and demanded an official list of “stained” and “endless” workers.
