Padma Awards 2027 Nominations Invited Online; SETVIS sets a deadline for documents on June 3

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has invited online nominations for the Padma Awards to be presented during the Republic Day celebrations in 2027.

In a press release on Monday (May 25, 2026), Visakhapatnam Employment and Training Society (SETVIS) CEO M. Ramya said that eligible individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service in fields such as arts, literature, education, sports, medicine, social services, science and engineering, public affairs, civil services, commerce and industry are eligible to apply for the award.

Applicants have been asked to submit their nominations only through the Rashtriya Puraskar portal website at awards.gov.in.

Ms. Ramya said candidates should also send a photocopy of the online application, one-page CV and brochure details to the SETVIS office by June 3, 2026.

The documents should be submitted to the SETVIS office near Zilla Parishad Junction in Visakhapatnam, she said and appealed to the eligible persons to complete the process within the stipulated time.
