The government canceled 14 categories of visas, including business, conference, visitor and pilgrim, given by Pakistani nationals after a terrorist attack on Pahalgam in Jamm and Kashmir, in which 26 people were killed, the Ministry of the Interior said on Friday.
After the decision of the Cabinet for the Security Decision, the Minister of the Interior of the Union AMIT Shah, on Friday, called on all the main ministers and asked them to ensure that no Pakistani remained outside the deadline for abandonment.
After telephone interviews Mr. Shaha with the main ministers, the Minister of the Interior of the Union Govind also organized video secretaries of all states and asked them to ensure compliance.
In communication with all state governments, the Ministry of the Interior stated that the order would not apply to long -term visas (LTV), as well as diplomatic and official visas issued to Pakistani nationals.
According to the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry, those holding Visa Saarc must leave India until April 26 and those who have visas on arrival, business, film, journalists, transit, conference, mountaineering, student, visitor, group tourists and pilgrimage visa must leave India until April 27.
Those who have group pilgrimage visas given to Pakistan minorities must also leave the country by April 27 and those who have medical visas must leave by April 29.
The domestic ministry said no new visa would be issued.
