Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) Abhijeet Dipke has slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh over the death of 30 tribal children in the past few months by publishing a satirical letter as the state’s chief minister. Dipke also addressed the ‘resignation’ letter to the Governor of Madhya Pradesh as he tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I hereby resign as Chief Minister of MP with immediate effect. Thank you Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji for giving me an opportunity to serve the people of MP, an opportunity in which I have clearly failed,” Dipke wrote on social media.
What did Abhijeet Dipke, posing as MP CM, write?
Abhijeet Dipke, on behalf of the “Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh”, posted a letter on X. He mocked the state government and wrote, “I hereby tender my resignation from the office of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.”
“My conscience does not allow me to continue to hold this seat after the death of more than 30 tribal children in Balaghat. As Chief Minister, I accept responsibility for not providing them with the timely medical care and support they needed. Many of these lives could have been saved and I cannot absolve myself of responsibility for this failure,” the letter said.

Dipke took issue with the government’s decision to increase the compensation amount ₹2 lakh up to ₹4 lakh, given to the family of indigenous children who died, allegedly due to monsoon-related infectious diseases amid concerns over overcrowded hospitals, contaminated drinking water and malnutrition in the district.
Dipke’s letter read, “Equally shameful is our insensitivity after their deaths. We initially announced a compensation of just 2 lakhs per child, which we increased to 4 lakhs only after the tribal community protested.”
“It makes me ask an uncomfortable question: would we consider 4 million adequate if they were the children of ministers or MLAs? Our response reflects how little value we placed on the lives of indigenous children,” he asked.
Dipke said the deaths of innocent children demanded accountability at the highest level, declaring: “Despite the gravity of this tragedy, we have also failed to hold health officials accountable.”
He further pointed out, “Our failures go beyond healthcare. While our honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, popularly known as Vishwaguru, has declared success in providing tap water to households under the Har Ghar Nal Yojna, tribal families in parts of Balaghat still depend on drinking water from the river, endangering their health.”
“The education situation is equally alarming. In several villages, schools are in worse conditions than animal shelters. In one Balaghat village, around 75 children are studying in a single class, from Anganwadi to Class 5. Despite repeated requests from the local tribal community, we have not been able to provide them with a proper school building,” Dipke added.
“Today I hang my head in shame that even after nearly 21 years of BJP rule in Madhya Pradesh since 2003, we are unable to guarantee the basic dignity of safe drinking water, adequate healthcare and quality education to many tribal families,” the letter said.
She pointed to the data to “expose the failure of my (Madhya Pradesh) government towards tribal communities”.
He said, “55,795 tribal households in Madhya Pradesh remain without electricity, according to our own government data. 32% of India’s crimes against scheduled tribes were recorded in Madhya Pradesh, according to NCRB data. More than 5.41 lakh children (8.60%) in the state were classified as underweight according to the data table of over 36 lakhs 1st government in the Vidhan Sabha, with tribal communities among the severely disabled.”
Dipke, who signed the letter as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, said, “I have failed the tribals of not only Balaghat but the entire state and after the loss of so many innocent children, I do not think I have the moral right to continue in this office.”
“Therefore, I tender my resignation as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh with immediate effect. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, popularly known as Vishwaguru, for giving me the opportunity to serve the people of Madhya Pradesh,” Dipke wrote.
Death of Balaghat children
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convener Abhijeet Dipke on Saturday visited tribal villages in Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district to meet families who recently lost their children to infectious diseases and demanded accountability from the administration.
Accompanied by local youth, Dipke traveled to the villages of Adori, Korka and Bondari to gather details about the local health facilities and the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the children.

Dipke’s visit came days after the Madhya Pradesh High Court issued a notice to the state government over the deaths of more than 30 children, allegedly due to infectious diseases, following a PIL alleging overcrowded hospitals, contaminated drinking water and malnutrition in the district, news agency PTI reported.
The PIL alleged that the children were not getting adequate treatment and that about 400 children were being treated in the 50-bed hospital. It also claimed that the yellow-colored water was coming from hand pumps in the affected areas and that children and women had not received nutritious food on time for several months.
A report prepared by the petitioner alleged that there was widespread filth in the area and alleged that these conditions were causing infections and that children continued to die of disease.
A group of ‘influencers’ berates Dipke
Abhijeet Dipke was allegedly mobbed by a group of people who appeared to be social media influencers during his visit to Balaghat district in the Madhya Pradesh city. People asked Dipke if he had come to do “politics” because of the death of several tribal children in the region due to infectious diseases.
A viral video on social media showed Dipke apologizing for visiting the area late.
A viral video showed a female “influencer” sticking a microphone in Dipke’s face as he drove away in a car, asking him if he had come there to “do politics on corpses” and why he had visited the area so late.
Dipke was heard to apologize for his late visit to the area.
The woman was also heard saying, “A good road has been built here. Can’t you see that?”

As the situation escalated, the CJP personnel accompanying Dipke put him in another car and took him away.
As the CJP founder was leaving, a woman was heard saying “run away, run away.”
Local journalists said they were surprised to see this group of outside social media influencers appear in the remote village and wondered if they had been sent by someone to disrupt the CJP founder’s visit.
