
New Delhi: The Indian head coach of the men’s Gautam Gambhir team received threatening e -maly from the suspicious Gmail account on April 22, the same day terrorists killed 26 people in Kashmir Pahalgam, forced the police in Delhi to investigate security concerns.
Former BJP deputy received two threat mail with a “kill you” message from a sender who claims to be “ISIS Kashmir”, according to police sources.
“We were informed of the alleged threat that the post received on the e -mail ID associated with Gautam Gambhir. The thing is investigated,” said DCP (central) M Harsha Vardhan.

“Gautam Gambhir is already a Delhi police protector and we do not comment on specific security measures,” the officer added.
At the Rajinder Nagar Police Station, there was an e -mail complaint with the screenshots about threatening mails.
“Dear Sir, Namaskare. When we talked, please find the” threat mail “below the mail ID of Mr. Gautam Gambhir (former MP), head coach of the Indian cricket team.
This is not Gambhir’s first encounter with threats. In 2022, he faced similar threatening situations that led the authorities to improve his security measures.
Police in Delhi are currently investigating this matter and at the same time maintaining existing security protocols for coaches cricket and former deputy.
