Police Hills Police arrested the usual house, which was involved in a few daily burglary and gained gold ornaments weighing around 40 grams along with cash and silver articles.
The defendant, identified as Kollipakala, aka Mani Mani alias Nani, 21, was arrested in a number of cases of theft registered at various police stations in the city.
The manicant, a native of East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, lived in Somajiguda and worked in the catering sector. He was booked seven times by Borabanda, Kukatpally, Allapur and the Secretariat of the Police for a similar crime between 2023 and 2024.
In connection with the current set of crimes, the manicner confessed to her involvement in four cases in Miyapur and Jubilee Hills. After his arrest, the police received 4.49 gram gold chain, 2.5 gram gold ring, 5 gram earrings, traditional golden “Pusthel” and cash in the amount of 2,500 GBP, all associated with ongoing investigation.
In addition, the police also arrested Lingala Anil Kumar, who received stolen jewelry. Kumar, an entrepreneur from Chaitanyapuri, was found in the possession of two gold bracelets weighing 14.860 grams, a few earrings weighing 8.245 grams and a gold ring of 2.8 grams, all watched back to one of the cases of Hills.
