Two Gurukul Patashala boys issued TC after allegedly assaulting classmate

Two Class VIII students of Gurukul Patashala in Gyarampalle mandal in Annamayya district have been issued Transfer Certificates (TC) from the school on allegations that they tried to harm a classmate while he was sleeping in the hostel.

According to officials, the student approached the Mandal Education Department and alleged that two boys pressed their feet on his neck during the incident. He allegedly managed to escape and subsequently informed the authorities about the matter.

During the investigation conducted by Mandal Education Officer Reddy Basha on Wednesday, the two students reportedly confessed their involvement in the incident that took place a week ago. Officials said the boys reportedly told the investigative team they believed the boarding school deaths would lead to a day off.

As a precautionary measure, the school authorities issued transfer certificates to the two students and handed them over to their parents.
