During the meeting at the District level on the level of infant mortality (IMR) and mortality mortality (MRD), the district collector Chadalavada Nagarani revealed that 88 infant mortals and eight maternal mortals for 2024-25 were recorded in the West Godavari district.
Mrs. Nagarani ordered medical officials to initiate the probe into the causes for a significant increase in the number of infant and maternal mortality in the West Godavari district.
G. Geethabhai was instructed to issue notifications of government and private clinics where these mortality rates were reported since March.
Participation in the meeting was the integrated Director of the Development Services B. Sujath Rani, the Coordinator of the District Hospital Services Dr. M. Suryanarayana and other officials.
