The deceased, including tourists, were from Indore, Bombai, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Kalkata, Nepal, Kanpur, Bihar, Bangalore, Pune, Bhavgar and other places.
On Tuesday, terrorists hit the main tourist place in Pahalgam in the Kashmir district of Ananttnag, killed at least 26 people and injured several others.

Navy, IB and IAF officers among the killed

At the beginning of the day, AMIT Shah, Minister of the Interior, visited the place and communicated with the higher army and police officers.
