Sundays on Cycle initiative for CISF was launched in Ranipet

The Rajaditya Chola Regional Training Center at Thakkolam near Arakkonam town in Ranipet district in association with Sports Authority of India launched ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative for CISF personnel at the center on Sunday.

According to a press release, the initiative, which was part of the Fit India movement, was aimed at promoting the use of cycles by CISF personnel as part of environmental protection efforts. It also aimed to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, unity and fitness.

Around 100 cyclists, mainly CISF personnel, passed through Thakkolam village and interacted with the residents to create awareness about fitness and environmental protection. Mithlesh Kumar, DIG and Director, RC RTC (Thakkolam) and Nilesh Kumar, Commander-in-Chief and Deputy Director, RC RTC, said the report.
