Karnataka Health Minister awards jobs to 51 candidates on compassionate basis

Health and Welfare Minister UT Khader on Wednesday awarded contracts to 51 candidates for various roles including Assistant Division One, Assistant Division Two and Category D at Arogya Soudha in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

All 51 are dependents of former government employees who died while serving at the Department of Health and Welfare.

Mr. Khader said, “Candidates have been appointed to various cadres as per their educational qualification as per the rules applicable in the Karnataka Civil Services (Compassionate Recruitment) Rules, 1996 (as amended). The candidates have been appointed after receiving complete State Welfare files from subordinate institutions and regional commissioners under the jurisdiction of all district health and family offices. through online counselling.”

About 25 of them were appointed First Division Assistants, 14 Second Division Assistants and 12 Group D staff.
