The two-day ICSSR seminar ends at UMB

The two-day National Seminar on ‘Integrating AYUSH with Community Medicine: A Framework for Holistic and Sustainable Public Health in India’ (IACMI2026), sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), concluded on Wednesday at the Mohan Babu University (MBU) campus.

During the expert presentations on the second day, Rajan of CMPRH (Ministry of AYUSH, Ooty), P. Savithramma of SV University and Sathiya Rajeswaran of CCRS, Puducherry spoke on the relevance of traditional knowledge systems, integrative approaches to health care and the importance of strengthening collaboration between different health disciplines to achieve sustainable public health outcomes.

MBÚ Registrar K. Saradhi, Dean (School of Engineering) Babu Devasenapati appreciated the efforts of MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the organizers to make the event a success.

The presentations of several participants and the best individuals in their categories were awarded.

Seminar leader MR Jeyaprakash and organizer Radha Ravi emphasized the need to integrate AYUSH systems with community medicine for optimum results.
