Tie Mysur has recently performed an engaging session in his basic series “Executive Story”, led by the narrator and founder of the story Co. & Story Club Sachin Bhandary. The interactive workshop plunged light on art and science of narrative communication, especially in connection with trade and leadership.
“We were born with the gift of narration, but somewhere on the way – especially in meeting rooms and playgrounds – we forget how to use it,” Mr. Bhandary said during the meeting. Its mission is to help entrepreneurs recruit this natural ability and use it to build a deeper and more meaningful connection with their audience, team and community.
Over 90 participants, including founders, beginning teams, teachers, students and aspiring entrepreneurs, gathered at the meeting. “From living exercises to discussions about the development of the idea, the workshop kept all involved from start to finish,” the organizers said here.
Mr. Bhandary introduced three story formats that every entrepreneur and leader can use to strengthen their communication: the original stories that help to convey “why” behind the business, capture passions, purpose and personal motivation; Connection stories – created to build relatives, trust and empathy – these stories help entrepreneurs to connect with customers, investors and teammates at human level; And guidance stories – designed to illuminate the light on others, uplifting these stories, inspired and celebrate team members, partners or mentors who make the difference.
The audience also explored the concept of Mr. Bhandar called “Storyflection” – a mixture of narration and reflection. It is the practice of stopping, observing and pulling stories from everyday life to create messages that resonate with authenticity, the edition said.
Participants created and shared their own stories using presented frames. Segments of questions and answers were also engaging, provoking a sophisticated discussion and personal considerations between the audience, added edition.
