The truck crashes into the ravine, the driver, the cleaner burned to death

A truck driver and a cleaner were reportedly burnt to death when their vehicle plunged into a ravine on the Guvvalacheruvu ghat road and caught fire in Kadapa district early on Tuesday.

A truck carrying bags of cement plunged into a ravine and caught fire after its brakes allegedly failed while negotiating a sharp bend on the dangerous Ghat Road. Driver Subramani and cleaner Palani were burnt on the spot. Dry vegetation further helped spread the fire to surrounding areas.

The police and the fire brigade rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire. They began searching for more tracks in the nearby forest.
