The prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition for production and drawing/painting on drawing and painting, organized as part of the World Heritage Day in Memor Rail Museum here on Monday.
The museum remembered the World Heritage Day 2025 on the theme of “Cataial and Conflict Heritage-Actions in relation to the protection of heritage”, 18th April. The event combined young artists to show their creativity and at the same time emphasize the importance of maintaining cultural heritage in the middle of global problems.
The main guest on this occasion, Modit Mittal, the division railway manager of the Mysuru Division, distributed the prizes to the winners of the competition.
At his address Mr. Mittal praised participants for their exceptional artistic talent and called on them to raise their passion for art when they devote themselves to higher ambitions. “Your creativity is not just a skill, but a powerful tool that inspires change. Keep this passion alive. It leads you to greater success in life,” he said.
On this occasion, they also spoke about railway officials, including the head of the Vishnu Gowda division and the higher divisional machine engineer Kumar Digvijay.
The competition took place in three age groups. Group A (6-9 years) are Mohammed Ghouse Mohiuddin, Kounain Amber, Ridhaan Sanil and Ipsita Viget (1, 2, 2, 2 and 3); Group B winners (10-13 years) are Vedashree Wakinbe, Kanak Vinayak and Dhruvan MP (1, 2 and 3, respectively); and Group C (14-17 years) Pragathi KH, KSSHI S. and Romit Arya (1, 2, 2 and 3, respectively), said the press release.
