US President Donald Trump has shared an AI-generated image of his daily trading of Intel shares from $20 to $95, claiming he has made “hundreds of billions of dollars” in the stock and other holdings for the United States.
Trump shared the image on Truth Social along with a post saying, “I’m doing this for our country, not for myself. I’ve made hundreds of billions of dollars in stocks and many other types of holdings for the US, not for myself, and all I’m doing is being criticized by radical left democrats. Very unfair, but what can you do!”
Trump highlights rise in Intel shares
Intel shares closed at $95.80 on September 4 and hit $95.89 two days later, putting the stock nearly four times above its 52-week low of $24.05.
Trump previously shared a similar AI-generated image of Intel stock. A post last September showed the company’s stock moving from $20 to $30.
The latest post comes amid scrutiny of investment activity linked to Trump and his public comments about companies whose shares have subsequently moved sharply.
On paper, he acquired Intel’s share
Government filings with the US Office of Government Ethics allegedly showed accounts linked to Trump building positions at Intel and Dell Technologies ahead of public posts about the companies.
The US government’s reported 9.9% stake in Intel was acquired for $20.47 per share in August 2025. Intel shares are now trading near $96, and the value of the stake has grown substantially on paper.
Dell’s stock has also rallied significantly this year following his earlier public comment.
Trump can trade stocks while he’s president
US presidents are not prohibited by law from trading stocks while in office. Trump also hasn’t put his assets into a blind trust, meaning he can potentially know what his asset managers are buying or selling.
Trump’s latest stock-related post was part of a wider social media spree Sunday when he published posts on Truth Social, many of which included what appeared to be AI-generated images.
Trump floods Truth Social with AI images
Several posts portrayed Trump in exaggerated action hero roles. One showed him commanding giant futuristic robots with the caption “GIVE THEM NIGHTMARES”, while another showed a fighter jet attacking the island of Kharg with the words “Goodbye Kharg”.
Other AI-generated images showed Trump as a Hulk Hogan-like wrestler running the Space Force Command Center and appearing alongside former US President George Washington in the Oval Office.
Trump also shared an apparently AI-generated image of actor Robert De Niro holding a “Trump is my president” shirt.

AI images show US claiming territory
Some of Trump’s posts depicted countries, territories and even celestial bodies as US property.
One AI-generated image labeled the Strait of Hormuz as “NEW US territory,” while another depicted the moon with the words “The moon is ours.”
Another image showed Lake Ontario labeled “Lake America”. The post followed Trump’s executive order directing the federal government to use the name “Lake America” for the lake, a move rejected by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who said Canada would continue to call it Lake Ontario.
Trump shares Iran war photos
Trump has repeatedly posted AI-generated content during the ongoing US-Iran war, including images depicting the destruction of Iran and Trump portraying himself as the country’s savior.
He also shared an infographic about Iran’s economy without verifiable sources. One chart claimed that Iran’s currency had been “ruined”, while another described Iran as a “failing nation”.
More than six months after the US and Israel launched what they called “major combat operations” in Iran, there were no signs that either side was preparing to return to negotiations. Iran’s economy reportedly collapsed during the conflict, while inflation rose to historic levels.
