
In a joint operation, the Commissioner Working Group, the Southwest Zone team and the Chikkadpally police arrested two drug pedlers and one consumer in possession of hash oil weighing 380 grams.
The seizures also included three mobile phones and a scooter, thus increasing the total value of the confiscated assets to 3.70 Lakh.
The individuals were identified as D. Elisha Vali, 26, owner of a tea stand who also worked as an agent for food supply, Gajwelli Nikkel Sai, 19, a private employee from Asif Nagar, and Gonda Arvind Rao, 24, and a private employee working with domestic courier services.
Ande Srinivasa Rao, another DCP working group of commissioners, said Elisha Vali and Arvind Rao are school friends, while Nikkel Sai was a common acquaintance. “Vali and Sai were the usual hash oil users and later began to sell it to finance their lifestyle. In March they traveled to the siler in Alluri Sitharam Raju, Andhra Pradesh, where he bought 500 grams of narcotics from the supplier of YESA.
The arrest was carried out in Chikkadpally, while Vali and Sai tried to deliver 70 ArvinD Rao hash containers.
