The police in Mumbai arrested a Calcutta woman in connection with two children’s trading, the official said on Saturday.
The team from the Wadala Truck Truck Truck Terminus arrested the accused, Reshma Santosh Kumar Banerjee, last week and saved a two -year -old boy and a three -year -old girl in the operation, the official said.
According to the police, in May 2024, the supplier turned to the kidnapping of his son -in -law and the toddler of the grandson.
The clerk said the probe revealed that the complainant’s son -in -law had sold a child for RS 1.6 Lakh to Asho Shaikh, Sharif Shaikh and Asha Parwar.
He said that the police subsequently arrested the father of the child and the other three accused, who informed the police that they had sold the boy at the Bhubaneswar station in Odisha.
5th April this year, the police received information that a woman was working at a dental hospital in Bhubaneshware, and after reaching the city they learned about her identity and stay in Kolkata.
Police accused the accused woman and saved the grandson of the complainant and an unidentified three -year -old girl.
The clerk said that the accused woman and children were brought to the bomb and was arrested on April 13.
