Class 10 results prove merit of govt schools: DEO

Vizianagaram District Education Officer U. Manikyam Naidu said on Sunday that the government school children are top notch and their decent performance in the Class 10 examinations proved it. Chairman of Karrothu Satyam on behalf of Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi-Vizianagaram presented cash prizes to 15 deserving students who secured top marks in Class 10 examinations. Mr. Satyam hoped that this would lead to huge demand for seats in government schools.

Mr. Satyam, who is also a retired principal, told the media that the association would continue to support deserving students of class 10th and intermediate courses. Association General Secretary Majji Kanta Rao, members Sonthi Kameswara Rao, Boda Gopalam, Chekka Radhakrishna Murthy and others were present.
