On April 8 part of the district of Murshidabad broke violence over protests against the Anti-WAQF Act (amendment). Some of the demonstrators clashed with the police, where more police vehicles were ignited. Three people have so far died in municipal clashes and more than 274 arrested and 60 companies were given.
On April 11, Mr. Pathan sent him a photo and wrote: “Easy afternoon, good chai and quiet surroundings. She just soaked at the moment.” The cricket-open constitution is only about 80 km from the area affected by violence, which led to extensive criticism, some of the party.
Mr. Pathan’s post has led to many towards opposition parties, including the state president of the Bhartiya of Amber and Member of the Sukant Majumdar.
“TMC MP @IAMYUSUFPATHAN publishes a picture of how he sipped tea and soaked at a moment while the Hindes are killed in the Malda-Murshidabad!” Mr. Majumdar wrote on a hand Media Handle X.
Many political leaders visited the affected areas and met damaged people, including a five -time Murshidabad deputy and former state president of Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhura.
“Here, Hindus Muslims have grown together. Someone can cause such incidents from outside, but that does not mean that Murshidabad has become a municipal district,” Mr. Chowdhury said 15 April after visiting the family concerned.
Yusuf Pathan is the first Behmpore deputy in the Murshidabad district to have two more constituencies, Murshidabad and Yangipur. The leaders of TMC Abu Taker Khan and Khalilur Rahaman represent both chairs.
“Yusuf Pathan is an athlete. He’s busy cricket and sport. What come here?” Mr. Khan said Hindu. However, he also added that they are in contact with Mr. Pathan by phone and updated it on Earth’s development.
Humayun Kabir, TMC MLA of Bharatpur in Murshidabad, although he said that if a deputy is not standing next to his people in difficult times, it will be reflected during the elections. “He is a completely non -political person. When a person becomes a public representative, then he has a great responsibility. He should have come here and asked people and their condition. It would help him connect with people,” Kabir said further Hindu.
In the middle of the controversy Yusuf Pathan did not disclose any statement of this question. He created two other posts on his social media page that did not concern municipal violence in Murshidabad.
Meanwhile, April 18 Governor CV Ananda Bose headed to Murshidabad to meet the affected families. It came even after the 17th of April (Thursday) begged the chief Minister Mamata Baerjee to postpone his proposed visit.
Mrs. Banerjee, who spoke to the media persons at the state secretariat, said she would ask that “except the locals should not go (to Murshidabad)”.
“Normality has returned and the need to build confidence between people. This is done by the state administration. If it wasn’t, I could also go. Why not I’m not going? Will I go at the right time. If I go now, others will want to go,” the chief minister said.
