Chittoor Deputy Superintendent of Police J. Venkatanarayana inspected Penumuru Police Station under Chittoor Sub-Divisional limits on Sunday (May 24, 2026).

After inspecting the station premises, the official reviewed the pending cases and verified the station records. Interacting with the police personnel, Mr. Venkatanarayana instructed them to perform their duties sincerely and maintain a friendly attitude towards the people to strengthen public confidence in the police. He emphasized on speedy disposal of pending cases and emphasized discipline in the management of the station. He directed officials to enhance CCTV surveillance and maintain strict vigil on suspicious movements in the jurisdiction.

The SP representative further directed the staff to organize awareness programs on women’s safety and prevention of cybercrime to increase public awareness. He advised staff to treat complainants with patience and empathy. Penumuru SI Srinivasulu and police personnel participated in the inspection.
