Zarnataka KSHATRIYA KSHATRIYA MARATHA SAMITI called on an exception to the caste census of the people concerning their community, which was published in the media section to order a new caste survey to find out the right data.
On Thursday, addressing printing carriers together with other offices and older community in Hubball, the honorary President of Saviti Balaji Savalekar, called the whole survey of the caste census as so unscientific because it was published with incorrect numbers concerning not only Khahatriya Marath, but also with other communities.
Mr. Savar said that, according to an earlier estimate of the community population in Karnataka, there were more than 45 marathy members in different districts, and if all subparagraphs and sub -kitchens are included, it will now be approximately 80 lakh.
“According to the census data, however, there are only 18 members of the community in the state, which is very little and far from the truth,” he said.
Older Keshav Yadav communities said there were 49 partial sects and castes of Khatriya Marath Community and the data provided in the census report reduced the community to minority status.
“Despite the recommendations of the State Class Commission, the demand for the Status 2a for the community was carried out by two decades ago. None of the governments considered our demand. At least now the government should consider it,” he said.
As a question, Mr. Keshav Yadav said that as a repeated appeal for inclusion in category 2a did not produce any result, it will investigate the legal possibilities in the coming days after consulting specialists.
The Samiti Shankar Shelke, Vishwas Jadhav, Vittal Chavan and Jyotibha Khairoi urged the government not to take into account the current caste census, and instead of providing new survey to all communities, including Marathas.
