David White is stepping down as CEO of ILT20 after a three-year stint

NEW DELHI: The International League T20 (ILT20) on Thursday announced that CEO David White will leave his position after asking not to renew his contract and opting to return to his home country of New Zealand.White joined the ILT20 as CEO in September 2023 and oversaw the league through its first three seasons from 2023 to 2025.ILT20 Chairman Khalid Al Zarooni thanked White for his contribution to the league’s growth during his tenure.“The ILT20 team appreciates David White’s hard work and commitment as the league’s CEO during his three-year tenure and thanks him for his service,” Al Zarooni said.“Under White, the league has made great strides to establish itself as one of the premier tournaments in the world. White has played a leading role in the league’s growth during his tenure. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”White said he decided to return to New Zealand after three successful years with the league.“I have decided to return to my home country of New Zealand after three very successful years with the International League T20. I am grateful to the ILT20 for accepting my request,” White said.“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the league, which has grown into one of the best T20 tournaments in the world in recent years.“I want to take this opportunity to thank the management of the ILT20, the Emirates Cricket Board, my colleagues, tournament franchises and partners for their tremendous work and support. I wish the ILT20 all the best for the years to come.”
