Sister Albertine, a nun and teacher, dies at the age of 94

St. Joseph’s College for Women (Autonomous) mourned the death of Sr. Albertine, SSJA, former Correspondent, Deputy Principal and Head of the Department of English. She died on Monday at the age of 94 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Vizag.

Principal Sr. Shyji PD along with sisters, faculty and staff expressed their condolences and prayed for the repose of her soul. The college community remembered her dedicated service, wisdom, gentle nature and contribution to the institution.

Her funeral was held on Monday at 3 p.m. in the monastery church of St. Joseph, Waltair RS, Gnanapuram. Sisters, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters attended and paid their last respects.
