Congress Head of Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday (April 15, 2025) focused on orientation meetings with the All India (AIC) Congress Committee and the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) in Ahmedabad to discuss the process of identifying and selection of 41 district units in Gudjat.
KC Venugopal and General Secretary of AICC for Gujarat Mukul Wasnik were also present at the meeting.
“On Wednesday (April 16, 2025), the pilot project will start from the Aravalli district in the northern Gujarat, where Rahulji will organize a dialogue with leaders at the district level and later meet the party workers at the stand level.
At the recently closed two -day meeting AHMEDABAD AICC, the Party said that the District Congress Committee (DCC) will be the basis of the party’s decision -making structure. They would be authorized and responsible for the party’s performance, he said.
Teams of the observers will propose six names for each head of the district unit and the final selection will be made until 31.
April 12 ACC appointed 42 AICC and 183 PCC observers for supervision of the appointment of the Presidents in 33 districts and eight capitals of Gujarat. The panel of five observers – one of the AICC and the four of the PCC – will visit the district unit assigned, remain in the district for at least three days and meet with local parties and people.

“Rahulji has offered us instructions on the selection of district presidents. A five -member team of observers will visit all 41 district units between 23 April and 8 May,” said former head of Jagdish’s State Congress Thakor.
Former Mla Gyasuddin Shaikh told reporters that Mr. Gandhi underlines that the leaders need to participate in people’s struggles and raise their problems because people are mutilated by the ruling BJP government. The party does not receive public support if the leaders do not reach them, Mr. Gandhi was quoted by Mr. Shaikh, in a two -hour program in the state.
