
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) released a five -day weather forecast for the state and warned residents of possible storms, lightning and strong wind.

According to the official edition of April 15, the wind speed is expected to be between 30 and 50 km/h. Many areas across Karnataka can experience light to medium collisions in the next few days.
Which districts are on standby?
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for 15 districts in Karnataka due to the risk of storms, lightning and slight precipitation. These districts include:

Shimoga, Davangere, Chitradurga, Chikmagalur, Bellary, Tumkur, Mandya, Hassan, Kodag, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Ramnagar, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural and Kola.
What does IMD advise?
IMD warns against the gusts of 30 to 50 km/h, lightning and scattered light into slight collisions throughout the state.
The Center for Monitoring of Natural Disasters in Karnataka (KSNDMC) notes that coastal, Malnad and southern internal districts are likely to experience light into a slight rain.
Northern internal districts can see light rainfall and isolated drizzle.
The inhabitants, especially in the affected districts, are recommended that they remain inside storm activity and be careful in the late afternoon and evening, when the weather disruption is expected to intensify.
