The group of Congress staff plan to organize a parallel Convention here 1 May in protest against the alleged “group” in the District Congress Committee (DCC).
K. Mohanan Kumar, President of the Kottayi Mandalam Congress Committee, said that a large number of party workers were disappointed with the party leadership. He said DCC remained inactive even after repeated complaints about dividing and anti -grade activities against certain leaders.
Fourteen workers left Congress in Kottay a moment ago to protest against the party leadership. Mr. Kumar said it was a “group” that led to desert leaders such as AV Gopinathan and A. Ramaswama.
