The state government is actively working on creating an exclusive portal for providing information about Praja Palana, the administration of people in the public sphere.
The new portal, which will be considered on the lines of the Jan Sochno portal in Rajasthan, will have detailed details of the schemes carried out by the government. Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy caused this idea during a meeting with higher officials and representatives of civil society on Monday.
The main minister is understood that he favored the exclusive portal for people to know about their claims in various and status schemes to perform various programs focused on people. “Citizens should know what their claim and their requests are,” said the higher official who attended the meeting.
In accordance with this, it is considered to be details of applications and information about the various programs that the government carries out in a transparent manner through the portal. This orders the development of the mechanism/procedure to ensure that people get what they are entitled to in a transparent way.
The main minister therefore set up a committee headed by a special secretary K. Ramakrishná Rao and composed of higher officials from different departments to develop operating instructions for the portal. The Committee was recommended in advance to find out information that may be confidential in accordance with existing laws without endangering the personal safety of people. “There will be steps to identify schemes and data that can be transparently published by people,” Hindu clerk said.
Representatives of organizations of civil companies are to welcome this step and have stated that Telangana has a strong digital database that can be used for greater public well -being. The main minister learned to order the officials concerned to come up with a detailed report on the portal so that it could be launched 2 June, which coincides with the date of the state formation.
