BJP thinks it is bigger than RSS; should listen to Mohan Bhagwat: Dipke

Cockroach Janta Party leader Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday (August 30, 2026) said the BJP thinks it has become bigger than the RSS but should pay attention to what Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat says. He was replying to a reporter’s question about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief’s statement in New York that if any Hindu thinks there should be no Muslims in Bharat, he will not remain a Hindu.

”I have been saying this from the beginning that BJP should listen to Mohan Bhagwat. After being in power for 12 years and having so many agencies in its hands, BJP thinks it has grown bigger than RSS,” the CJP leader said.

Mr Bhagwat had earlier said that he did not think the Gen Z protesters should be called anti-nationals.

“But the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) has come up with a new word ‘Dimagi Naxal’. It clearly shows that the Prime Minister is not listening to Mohan Bhagwat,” Mr. Dipke said.

While the RSS chief talks about inclusiveness and disrespecting children, the prime minister uses such words, he said, adding that “it doesn’t look good.” “They should at least listen to Mohan Bhagwat who is their mentor… they (BJP) are in power because of RSS,” Mr. Dipke added.

Asked about activist Sonam Wangchuk’s statement in an interview to a YouTube channel that according to his assessment CJP leaders have political ambitions, Mr. Dipke said the statement was distorted.

“He was asked if Sourav (Das) and Ashutosh (Ranka) had any ambitions. Wangchuk said we are talented and good leaders and have not been corrupt so far. We have campaigned honestly.

“He spoke good things about us,” Mr. Dipke said.

Mr. Wangchuk was later asked what will happen in the future, but no one can predict what a person will do in the future, Mr. Dipke said.

“I can’t even say that. I keep telling people not to blindly believe in anyone because we don’t know, there’s no guarantee what anyone will do in the future,” he said.

In particular, Mr. Wangchuk stated in the interview that it is not bad to have political ambitions.
