Alumni of Andhra University Statistics organized a meet

The graduates of different batches from 1972 to 1981 of the Department of Statistics of Andhra University organized a meeting in the seminar hall of the department on Sunday (August 30, 2026).

Andhra University College of Science and Technology Principal MVR Raju urged the graduates to stay active, avoid stress and lead a healthy and happy life. He also urged them to continue to participate in social service activities.

Alumni Association Vice Deans ARN Hanuman and N. Solomon Benny participated in the programme. Head of Department B. Muniswamy said such gatherings helped alumni reconnect with old friends and strengthen their connection with the department.

Alumni interacted with current students and shared suggestions regarding higher education, career opportunities and future plans. They also visited the Science College hostel and pledged support for the development of the department.
