
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuming was on Sunday 13th April a healthy scratch, a regular loss of the game NBA 124–119 for Los Angeles Clippers, a decision that the confusion of fans when the team slipped into the playing tournament. In the game widely perceived as a necessary victory for Postseason, head coach Steve Kerr decided to keep 22 years old on the bench throughout the game.
After the Kerr, he explained the reasoning of the absence of Kuminga and stressed that recent rotations were influenced by the team’s chemistry since Jimmy Butler in February.
“We have just found a group because Jimmy got here that we are quite well,” Kerr told reporters. “That doesn’t mean (kuminga) is out of the loop for the future – this game has happened.”
While Kuming was not formally excluded by the pregame, Kerr said he warned him of a possible shift in the rotation of the first quarter. The coach also noted that such decisions were influenced by Gui Santos, who was also a bench.
“We just found a group because Jimmy (Butler) got here, with whom we’re pretty good … I didn’t tell him he wouldn’t play because I wasn’t sure if he would play or not.”

Curry urges kuming to stay ready for the podium playback
Despite DNP, Stephen Curry’s star guard publicly supported Kuming and urged him to remain mentally ready for his next opportunity.
“It wasn’t his time tonight, but it could have been a game against Memphis where he would feel his presence,” Curry said.
Curry emphasized the unpredictable nature of the play -off and attracted the same situation for the experience of the US team, where players had to wait for their moment.
With the loss, the Golden State will now face Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in tournament. Kuminga, an average of 15.2 points this season, could be a valuable asset, especially against Memphis team in the league in the league.
