Man stabbed to death in suspected revenge killing in Guntur

In a suspected revenge killing, a Chinna villager was stabbed to death allegedly by members of a rival group at Venkatappaiah Colony in Guntur on Sunday.

Chinna, who was facing trial in a murder case dating back almost 20 years, migrated to Telangana. He returned to Guntur to attend his uncle’s final rites.

According to the police, the assailants, who were allegedly aware of Chinn’s movement, attacked him with knives, killing him on the spot.

Nagarampalem police visited the spot and registered a case.
