Jon Gosselin Reveals the Last Time He Spoke to Ex-Wife Kate Gosselin
In a recent interview, Jon Gosselin, the former husband of reality TV star Kate Gosselin, has opened up about the last time he spoke to his ex-wife. The two were once a beloved couple on the popular TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," but their relationship ultimately ended in divorce in 2009.
According to Jon, the last time he spoke to Kate was about a year ago, shortly after his birthday. In the interview, he revealed that he reached out to her to wish her a happy birthday, and they had a brief conversation.
"I just called her to say happy birthday," Jon said. "We just talked for like 10-15 minutes, and it was just a very cordial conversation. We just talked about, you know, life and kids and stuff. It was fine."
Despite their amicable conversation, Jon stated that he still has mixed emotions about their breakup. "You know, I still have a lot of emotions about it. I still miss her, but I’m at peace with the decision we made," he explained.
Jon and Kate were married for 10 years and had eight children together, six of whom are biological and two are adopted. They rose to fame with their TLC reality show, which followed the challenges of raising their large family. However, their marriage became increasingly strained due to their different parenting styles and personal differences, ultimately leading to their divorce.
In recent years, Jon and Kate have had their share of public feuds and disagreements over their children, particularly their sons, Collin and Joel. However, Jon has stated that he is focusing on co-parenting and giving their children a stable and happy upbringing.
While Jon and Kate may not have the most amicable relationship, it’s heartening to hear that they are able to communicate and put their differences aside for the sake of their children. As Jon aptly put it, "The kids are always the priority. We’re all just trying to do what’s best for them."
