In a light-hearted Instagram video, a traveler named Priyankk burned through the city’s notorious gridlock after his journey from the airport to the city took longer than the entire flight from Ahmedabad.
Summing up the struggle perfectly, Priyankk joked that booking a trip to India’s Silicon Valley essentially means packing for two completely separate trips: the actual flight to the city and the epic one – the hectic trek from the airport to your destination.
“If you’re coming to Bangalore from anywhere, you’re actually not making one journey, you’re making two journeys,” Priyankk said in the viral reel. “First, a trip from the city you live in to Bangalore airport, and second, a trip from Bangalore airport to anywhere in Bangalore. So you’re basically making two trips.”
“The flight took less time”
Sharing his personal experience of traveling from Ahmedabad to Bengaluru, Priyankk claimed that his flight from Gujarat took less time than the journey from the airport to the destination.
“The flight from Ahmedabad to Bangalore airport took less time than it took me to reach my destination from Bangalore airport,” he said. “Believe me, I came to Bangalore from Ahmedabad.
“Bengaluru and its eternal traffic,” read the caption on the viral video.
However, in the caption of his viral post, Priyankk commented, “Bangalore traffic but the city is still worth it. 🌆✨”

The viral clip quickly sparked a flood of engagement across social media, striking a deeply relatable chord with frequent travelers and local commuters all too familiar with the city’s crippling infrastructure bottlenecks.
