A Hoysala staff saves Bengaluru’s life after he gets chest pains on the road

A 34-year-old man, identified as Ravi, was traveling on a two-wheeler near the fire station in Magadi Road police station limits on Friday (August 28) when he suddenly felt severe pain in his chest and stopped at the roadside.

The patrolling staff of Sachidanandamurthy, Assistant Sub-Inspector and Basavaraju, Head Constable, of Hoysala-88 noticed Ravi in ​​distress and immediately rushed to his aid. After assessing his condition, the staff immediately performed CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

Their timely intervention helped revive Ravi and potentially saved his life. The quick response of the personnel of Hoysala-88 was appreciated for their presence of mind and quick action in the emergency situation.

The Namma Hoysala-112 team rescued 450 people between January and August 11 this year, highlighting the crucial role first responders play in preventing deaths in times of acute emergency, officials said.
