The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) takes significant steps in increasing academic excellence, research skills and community involvement through the development of its institutional development plan (IDP), said the vice -chairman of Batt Satyanaraya.
“The University Commission for Grant (UGC) has provided comprehensive institutions for higher education institutions (HIS) in India to prepare broadcasting and align them with the objectives of national educational policy (NEP) 2020. Development IDP.
VC describes the importance of brainstorming seminar and stated that it is organized to propose IDP in accordance with vision and mission of the university, realistic needs of needs, space analysis, building internationalization protocols, involvement of stakeholders at all levels, quantification of objectives and methods for continuous, current and socio -economically relevant objectives for all.
Sudhakar Yedla of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (Igidr), Mumbai and Executive Council of the University emphasized the need for a thorough approach to the development of IDP.
“For the effective development of IDP, we must identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges for university in all basic dimensions of growth and development. Opinions must be collected from all parties, including faculty teach Tradation of strategies and goals for the next 10 years, ”he said.
The Vijaykumar Workshop coordinator added that the holistic goals were identified and framed along the realistic timeline matched with the vision and mission of the university. “The detailed report on the Action Plan, generated by feedback from all parties involved, will be completed by the end of this month. This document will serve as the main volume for the coming years and will be submitted to facilitate the proposed action plan,” he said.
The workshop recorded the participation of several prominent personalities, including BK Tulasimaly, a former Vice -Rector of the Karnataka State Council. Other participants included the SUK Biradar registrar, members of the Faculty of Basavaraj Donur, Gr Angadi, Basavaraj Kubakaddi, Padmashree, RS Hegadi, Venkatraman Doddi, Guiruraj Mukaambi Shivakumar Belli, Lingamurty, Shushma, Ophia and others.
