Lucky draw for flats in Indiramma Housing Towers in four constituencies starts on Friday (August 28)

The draw for selected beneficiaries of flats in Indiramma Housing Towers Hyderabad (CURE) was held in four of the 16 assembly constituencies on Friday (August 28). A large number of people attended the event hoping to have a chance to own a new home.
I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy attended the draw at Mailardevpally. The minister shared the news on social media: “In a lucky draw held at Lakshmiguda for Mailardevpally area under Rajendranagar constituency, a token was drawn by a small child and the house was allotted to his own family. This government’s determination to fulfill the dream of the poor to have their own homes seems to have been blessed by the divine family of Lakshmi (Jarapala) in a lucky draw conducted by a little one that filled us all with joy and wonder.”
The draw is spread over four days, August 28-31, with four constituencies drawn each day.
On Friday, the draw was held at Qutbullapur; Secunderabad Cantonment; Rajendranagar and Nampally Assembly constituencies.
It will be held in Khairatabad; Kukatpally; Amberpet and Bahadurpura constituencies on Saturday (August 29).
Notifications will be sent to applicants selected in the lottery and the list will be uploaded online.
The government provides a subsidy of ₹ 5 lakh and people have to contribute ₹ 6 lakh for each flat. Only one apartment would be allocated to one family. The amount of ₹6 has to be paid in four installments with the first installment being ₹1,00,000 after pre-allocation.
The draw was telecast live, the links of which were given on the Telangana Housing Board website and on its Instagram and Facebook.
