
The President of the Uttarandhra Ambedkarites Pandranki Venko Raman called the Union and State Government governments to ensure 52% of reservations for the back -class sections, reflecting their population. He stressed that reverse classes make up around 55% of the country’s population, but reservations are limited to only 25% in many countries. The call for increased reservations was made on the occasion of the 198th anniversary of the birth of the social reformer Jyotirao Phuule.
Mr. Venkata Raman and the members of the association paid floral honors to Phuule’s statue near the collector’s office Vizianagaram. The event was present at the Association of Ganta Veerraju, members of Thallapudi Apparao, T. John Kennedy, along with others.
