Brahma Kumaris celebrate Raksha Bandhan with journalists

Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya organized a Raksha Bandhan program for journalists at Vizag Journalists Forum Press Club at Daba Gardens on Thursday.

City Police Commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi, who attended as the chief guest, said that Raksha Bandhan symbolizes brotherhood and urged people to cultivate the spirit of service and help others. He also called for cultivating spiritual values, avoiding harmful addictions and adopting a positive way of life.

VMRDA chairman Pranav Gopal, Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple chairman Kandla Nagaraju, actor Prasanna Kumar and representatives of journalists attended the programme.

Organizer BK Rameswari said Brahma Kumaris conducted the annual Raksha Bandhan program for journalists and tied rakhis to them.
