The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday (27 Aug 2026) cited a website that claims to fact-check statements made by Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi during his ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ campaign, accusing him of misleading the youth.

BJP MP and party’s national media chief Anil Baluni said, “Let Mr. Gandhi keep lying, it doesn’t matter… now every lie will be answered with hard facts! The ‘Jhooth Ki Goonj’ website is peeling back layers of Mr. Gandhi’s false claims one by one.”

He said that “the louder the propaganda, the louder the truth”, stating that “the voice of truth will eventually prevail”.

BJP Rajya Sabha member and spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said on X, “No matter how much Rahul Gandhi, a flag bearer of lies fueled by frustration and envy of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, continues to spread falsehoods, every lie is now exposed in the mirror of facts.

“One by one ‘Jhooth Ki Goonj’ websites reveal the reality behind Rahul Gandhi’s claims! The louder Rahul Gandhi’s ‘propaganda’ tries to speak, the louder the truth will come out!” he said.

BJP spokesman Pradeep Bhandari told a press conference that the country’s youth were “so irritated and angry at the series of lies” spread by Mr Gandhi that they launched a website to counter them.
